With nearly two decades of experience in education and professional development, I've dedicated my career to helping people learn, grow, and thrive.
I started as a middle school science teacher, where I discovered my passion for creating meaningful learning experiences. Then, as an instructional coach and leader, I collaborated with educators to implement research-based best practices in a nationally recognized AMLE school of distinction.
Now, as a Training Consultant for The Bob Pike Group and founder of Amplified Impact, LLC, I now travel across the country, teaching professionals how to design and deliver engaging training sessions that achieve real results.
My mission is to make learning practical, impactful, and accessible for professionals in any industry.
Why AI?
When I first encountered AI, I saw its incredible potential to streamline workflows, foster creativity, and expand what's possible. But I also recognized how overwhelming it could feel without clear guidance. That's why I'm passionate about simplifying AI—so it becomes a tool that empowers people to focus on what truly matters.
I've spent thousands of hours taking courses, reading books, attending and speaking at conferences, learning from thought leaders, teaching others, and playing with the latest AI tools so you don't have to.
Expertise & Approach
I specialize in translating educational best practices and neuroscience principles into actionable strategies, helping professionals become more effective at what they do.
Whether working with teams in education, leaders, or professionals in a variety of settings, I focus on equipping people with the skillsets and mindsets they need to confidently leverage any AI tool.
I hold a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Bethel University, where I also began doctoral studies. Bethel is where I met my wife, Jessie, and together, we've built a home in Minnetonka, Minnesota, with our four children.
When I'm not training or exploring new AI tools, you'll find me enjoying time with my family, reading books by my favorite authors like Patrick Lencioni, Simon Sinek, John Maxwell, and Brene Brown, and pursuing new ways to connect people and ideas to fuel growth.
